Sharon Lee, the creator of Plant Lovers Discovery Tours TM , is the former Deputy Director of the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta and spent 16 years managing the association's marketing and outreach programs. She is the founder and editor of The Public Garden , the only journal in North America specifically designed to be an information resource for public garden professionals. She has extensive knowledge of gardens and the value they bring to our lives and communities.

Greater Philadelphia Gardens
The Philadelphia region is rich in public gardens, arboreta, and historic houses with gardens. In 1989, many of them banded together to jointly promote the gardens and encourage visitors. That collaboration, one of the first of its kind in the country, has evolved into Greater Philadelphia Gardens, whose member gardens attract more than two million visitors each year.
